Have you heard of “snackable workouts”? Before you get too excited, they DON’T include snacks…. which was actually really disappointing to me but, I digress.
These are workouts that are perfectly portioned so you can do them throughout the day rather than having to dedicate a block of time to burn those calories! I don’t know about you but some days it's just crazy hectic!! The ability to break down my workout and work some muscles without feeling like I have to cut out something else in my schedule is a dream come true. If only my favorite snack, peanut butter were included…*sigh*
Check out this list of snackable workouts you can do while you wait for your popcorn to microwave and let me know your favorite snacks is because now I’m just hungry!
1. 10 minutes of dancing to your favorite music
2. One set of 25 squats
3. Do a 1-minute plank hold
4. One set of 25 jumping jacks and 25 reverse lunges
5. One set of 15 burpees and 15 wall push-ups
6. One set of 50 mountain climbers and 25 crunches
7. One set of 15 jumping jacks and 15 push-ups
8. One set of 50 jumping jacks, 25 alternating lunges, and 30 seconds of bicycle twists
9. Take a brisk, 10- to 20-minute walk
10. A fast “5, 10, 15 workout”: 5 pushups, 10 squats, 15 sit-ups
